These Gen 3 pyrotechnics are really cool and are perfect for paintball and airsoft combat simulation games. They are a lot more expensive than traditional twist and strike pyrotechnics as they have been made for the more die hard milsim wargamers but god are they worth it! I've been playing airsoft wargames for over 10 years now and having stuff like this really anhances your gameplay as it's the closest you'll get to the real thing.

i'm avid of the gadget show and airsoft evry other week in the year(evry 2 weeks) i have used this and the 1st gen ones and they are lovely hope to see more warfighters and paintball /airsoft /milttraysimulation games on the gadget show soon.

after having first hand experience usin real life grenades the tlsfx 3rd generation grenades are the closet thing to realism you can get in airsoft/milsim scenarios the only other airsoft/milsim grenade that you can compare to the 3rd generation line of grenades is the dynatec 9mm blank firing grenade which uses both 9mm and 12 guage blanks to simulate a real grenade explosion although most milsim/airsoft sites limit you to using the 9mm cartridge both grenades work very well but the advantage of the dynatec is that it is a reusable grenade as the tlsfk are not but still both good grenades
