The basics

Robonova-I is a humanoid robot that offers teachers, students, and robotics enthusiast with a robot package. Robonova-I is able to run, walk, flip, dance, cartwheels, and can compete in competitions as soon as it is properly programmed. Its exoskeleton is made out of custom gold anodised metal servo brackets and it features a durable plastic case.

The good

The robots are coming! Don’t worry, they’re not wielding oversized gatling guns or toting menacing Austrian accents. These mechanoids are merely looking to bowl you over with some kick-ass dance moves. And that’s exactly what the Robonova-I does. As well as performing the Robot in a way Peter Crouch never could, he also walks, runs, flips and does cartwheels. His exo-skeleton is also made from a rugged custom gold anodized metal - a blinged-up version of the T-800 if you will. Sarah Connors around the world - you have been warned.

The bad

How much?! For £720, you’d not only want your robot to dance for you, but cut your toe nails, fan you with a palm, and feed you grapes… all at the same time!

The bottom line

With more moves than Usher, Michael Jackson and, erm, Brendan Cole put together the Robonova-I puts all other robots to shame on the dancefloor. And for that price you’d hope so too
