Samsung U600
The basics
Samsung U600 is a mobile phone from Samsung that has a 3.15 megapixel camera. The phone comes in copper gold, garnet red, neutral white, crystal blue, platinum silver, soft black and sapphire blue. Some of its features include an organiser, Yahoo search, voice memo, business card recognition, and TV out.
The good
The U600 is so slim (10.9mm thin) it has to run around in the shower to get wet! It’s simple to navigate the phone's menus thanks to a sleek four-way navigation controller and a series of touch-sensitive keys as is the fashion. But quite how it houses a mighty 3.2-megapixel camera (with auto-focus and an LED light) is beyond us - especially one that kicks out such quality shots. Music-wise it’s as good, allowing you to easily muck about with the equalizer for audio that’s more balanced than a uni-cyclist on a quad bike.
The bad
Slide open the U600 and you’re met with a swish numerical keypad. Although typically with this form of layout the distinction between keys can lead to embarrassing typing errors. For instance, instead of ‘tentacles’ we typed ‘testicles’, but that might just be because we can’t spell.
The bottom line
We love the U600’s styling, features set and above all it’s meagre midriff. This is so skinny it hurts. Hurts that everything else in our lives is so fat.
