Nokia N82
The basics
Nokia N82 is a mobile phone by Nokia. It has a 5 megapixel camera with secondary CIF videocall camera at the front. It measures 112 x 50.2 x 17.3 mm and weighs 114 grams. Some of its features include an organiser, push-to-talk capabilities, 3.5 mm audio jack, TV out, and stereo FM radio.
The good
Nokia's laying the smackdown on Sony Ericsson's camera phones with the N82. See, its built-in snapper is brilliant. The top class Xenon flash means you can take convincing indoor shots, while the picture quality is as good as anything we've seen on a mobile. But the stellar photographic performance isn't the end. The 2.4-inch screen is a crisp stunner that auto-rotates iPhone-style when you tilt the handset. Oh, and there's GPS built in, plus N-Gage gaming support. Anything else? Yes actually. A cracking music player.
The bad
There are a couple of areas where the N82 could be improved. The first is the size. It's not exactly a size zero. It's not even a size 10. Secondly, there's not much in the way of built-in storage, so if you want to bump the memory to N95 8GB levels, you'll need to shell out on a micro SDHC card.
The bottom line
GPS, N-Gage support, a crisp 2.4-inch screen and a camera to die for make the N82 a smartphone to rival all smarties!
