LG Optimus 3D
The basics
The LG Optimus 3D is the world's first smartphone to offer a 3D display. Unlike 3D TVs, there's no need for glasses to see images jump out of the screen at you. You can also easily switch back to 2D. Read on to find out if the LG Optimus 3D is any good.
The good
Even before you take the 3D screen into consideration, the LG has got a cracking display. At 4.3 inches, it's the perfect smartphone for watching movies on or sharing your photographs, with lovely bright and colourful image quality.
Hit the 3D button on the side, and the LG Optimus comes into its own. Some of the 3D imagery – including games and videos – are absolutely stunning, although you'll have to be looking at the Otimus 3D from the perfect angle to get the best out of it.
The LG Optimus is packed with innovative features. Along with the 3D technology, it also gets a dual-core processor, letting you carry out multi-tasking at speed. Other features include 1080p video recording, and the inclusion of two 5-Megapixel cameras let you capture moving 3D images at 720p.
The bad
The main downside to the LG Optimus 3D is its size. Sure, the 4.3-inch screen is lovely when you're watching films, but this phone is huge in comparison to other smartphones. If you want a pocket-friendly handset, this isn't the one for you.
The bottom line
If you're in the market for a bigger Android smartphone, the LG Optimus 3D is well worth a look. We're still not entirely convinced that 3D technology has a lot to offer the smartphone world, but there are other features here that also impress, and the screen is a cracker.

I have to agree with daniel (previous poster) on this one. This phone looks stunning. It is definitely worth 5 stars. It is big for a reason, as is a tablet. These days we demand more from our gadget than just a phone, SMS and e-mail. Have you ever tried sat nav or movies on a 3 inch screen? It's pathetic to say the least!

this looks so amazing i want one sooo bad , but i really prefer bigger phones because it makes it easier to view pics and videos and play games it shouldn't loose a G for that its the users matter of opinion and i love the fact u can switch things between 2d and 3d, i think this could possibly be the best smartphone on the market rivaling the iphone 4 if size is the only problem compared to the multiple problems on the iphone 4 reported on this site then i think it could well be the best smartphone on the market.

I have this phone and the 3D element is the icing on the cake, it's an amazing phone with a lot to offer, Android, all is forgiven. Only problem I have is the 3D drains the battery very quickly
