LG KC910 Renoir
The basics
For a touch phone boasting compact lines (it measures 107.8 x 55.9 x 14 mm) and weighing a pocketable 114 grams, the Renoir’s feature rap sheet is surprisingly burgeoning. Leading the line, is a Xenon flash waving, autofocus-driven eight megapixel snapper that also shoots VGA-quality video at 30fps and action footage in slow mo. High speed connectivity is overseen by onboard HSDPA and Wi-Fi while support for A-GPS enables personal navigation and a Dolby-enhancing music player buffs the audio performance.
The good
Like its French artist namesake, the Renoir really can capture a decent picture. Its eight megapixel lens is strong on detail, ably abetted by the Xenon flash in low light environments. Tricks like face, smile and blink detection are also spot on. Like the Pixon, video capture, whether at 30fps or slowed down at 120fps, is slick with only small traces of digital drag and blur. The Dolby Mobile setting also brilliantly polishes your tunes but while it won’t improve the artistic merits of Phil Collins, you really notice a drop in quality and bass rumblings with it switched off.
The bad
The Renoir’s touch performance is still light years behind the iPhone’s but while its mostly responsive to your prods it can prove unpredictable at times, especially when scrolling through web pages. But apart from these touch sensitive flaws and failing to integrate a 3.5mm headphone jack to boost the Dolby driving fidelity further, the Renoir is a pretty solid dude.
The bottom line
Tame the Renoir’s sometime unpredictable touch performance and you’ll be rewarded with a feature rich handset that shines at mobile photography, video capture and spinning your tunes.

I love this Phone, I like the 8 mpx camera it has a good zoom lens it takes fantastic pictures!, there are a couple of problems with this Phone (1) if the phone is not on lock in your pocket it intends to go mad like dialing the last number or opening windows on the phone (2) if your playing games on the phone playing music or taken pictures the battery don’t last long. And (3) when your trying to open items in the menu like a computer the windows some times take a couple of attempts before they will open!, but in general I love this phone

I love it because I own it! The iPhone has the best touchscreen I'd admit. But the Renoir is better than the iPhone. An 8 Megapixel camera, 3" touchscreen, Dolby Mobile and DivX player. The MicroSD can go all the way to 32GB, mine is 8GB, but that's enough, trust.

I have had this phone for a year and am tied into a contract for the next 6 months. Cannot wait to get rid of it, the touch screen is rubbish and hinders the use of all the other wonderful features on this phone. Hugely frustrating.
