LG GD910 Watch Phone
The basics
Dick Tracy. There, we've said it. Now we've got that out of the way, the LG GD910 Watch Phone is just what it sounds like: there's a 1.43-inch touchscreen to let you call and text people through your timepiece, Bluetooth connectivity to route calls and tunes wirelessly, and MP3 playback. It also sits on your wrist, tells the time and costs a lot of money.
The good
Well, the LG GD910 Watch Phone ain't bad as a watch. Lovely leather strap, smooth face and metal buckles. It also works as a phone better than you think: swiping between screen is easy, and tapping out texts is feasible, surprisingly, especially in predictive mode. The HSDPA connection's used for video calls, and they work with no problems, other than the dinky, pixelly screen. But look! It's a phone in a watch!
The bad
There are problems with how the LG GD910 Watch Phone works though. There's only 80MB of storage on board for MP3 and no microSD slot. Voice recognition is pitiful, at least with our limey accent, and video chatting while looking straight at the person on the other end of the line requires the wrist dexterity of a boy who's just discovered long showers. These issues, we can get over. What we can't though, is that it this is a budget phone you'd pay £50 for in candy bar form. But it's in a watch, and so costs £500. Don't you know there's a leather shortage out there? Must be that.
The bottom line
Do you have the money to pay someone else to go and buy you a LG GD910 Watch Phone? If yes, it's because you have more money than sense. We wish that we did too - we'd love to buy one, but deep down we know the honeymoon period would soon wear off.

it's discreet, light and acts as a secondary phone, so for those who say the novelty will wear off, hmmmm NOPE, all you need it for is simply top make calls and text, the odd listening to music via bluetooth which i have tried and its a 100% superb, nothings else just that, oops b4 i 4get and the obvious WHAT TIME IS IT!!
