LG BL40
The basics
The LG BL40 Chocolate phone has a four-inch 21:9 touchscreen. It also sports a five-megapixel camera, Wi-Fi, HSDPA, Bluetoothm an FM radio and a 3.5mm headphone socket.
The good
A sexier mobile phone than the LG BL40 Chocolate you are unlikely to meet. Slide this out of your pocket and it'll glide more admiring glances than Brad and Angelina cavorting naked on a nudist beach. Its piece de resistance is undoubtedly that four-inch 21:9 cinematic screen. It makes the "on-the-phone-movie-watching experience" actually pleasurable. It also makes using apps far more intuitive, thanks to all that extra space for your digits to use. Also capturing video and taking snaps with the excellent five-megapixel snapper is a breeze.
The bad
Okay, so the screen's good to look at. But as a touchscreen it's less desirable. In fact it's downright awkward. You find yourself prodding pretty hard to register commands. There's also a bit of lag involved. Our other gripe is the lack of 21:9 video content. What this means is that the letterboxing effect occurs more often than not. But this'll change as 21:9 permeates the DVD world.
The bottom line
Overall then, this is a sexy slither of a phone. Yes it's long, but that's so it can accommodate that gorgeous 21:9 screen. It's not perfect, but this is still one sweet phone!

Old chocolate is soso but if you have one, you may win some money. lg is looking for five serial number of old chocolate. should google and find more info.

If they put out an advertisement, it must not be a regular Chocolate phone. Why, a few years ago they had limited sales of the Chocolate phone gold line. Since it was a special edition, it must be scarce even to LG. If the phone they find is the gold line, then the probability that the winner will be from China is high because they love the color gold.

good review. love my bl40. easy to use, practical. probably my favorite unlocked world phones yet. screen is huge, long, it's easy to navigate around and the apps and touch screen is very responsive. way better than my old unlocked verizon phones. my wife loves hers for the facebook and games, they keep her busy on our long road trips around the u.s. and the gps helps us get around, because we get lost a lot and i'm too prideful to ask for directions. other than that it's hard to fit in my pocket and sometimes it dies on me for no reason but that's alright. we still love our unlocked cheap phones. got our blackberry unlock codes and lg unlock codes free too so that was nice. the camera and recorder are great for catching our family moments and the web browser and email help me keep in touch with my clients and business when i'm on vaca and the wife has me takin a break. also i can keep in touch with my fantasy team. processor is fast and the battery life lasts me all day too so that's a place. got our last couple unlocked quad band phones at unlockthatphone.com were very happy.
