LG Arena KM900
The basics
A lavish touchscreen mobile phone with a three-inch, WVGA screen, Wi-Fi, HSDPA, a five-megapixel camera, 8GB of storage, DivX video support and Dolby Mobile sound.
The good
The LG Arena's screen fits more pixels in than Gordon Ramsay does TV shows: it's one of the most high-res on the market and makes movies look dazzling, and it's only matched by the stunning silver exterior, which we reckon actually has the Clooney effect (similar to the Lynx effect, just a bit more classy). And under the bonnet, there's Dolby Mobile, which will trick your head holes into thinking your earphones have surround sound. As a media player, the LG Arena gives the Sony Ericsson Walkman line, and even the iPod Touch, a run for their moolah.
The bad
Like to text? Not after trying to tap out "Where r u?" on the LG Arena you don't: the touchscreen is near impossible to use for anyone with fingers thicker than a marker pen. And for all the looks and features that come installed, the LG Arena isn't actually a smartphone - you won't be able to download third party apps for it like you can the iPhone. But at least you'll look as good waving it about.
The bottom line
Apparently, you can't have both substance and style. If you choose the LG Arena, you'll certainly get the latter, but the former will sorely be missed.

ive got it on a contract so value for money isnt that important for me, but the main 3 things i want to say is it stilll have some bug e.g. if you save a log-in password to a websited and then try to change it the phone crashes. and the music, although the quality if nere enough makes no differnce, is amazing, the volume is disapointing. and texting is quite difficult too.

Oh dear. What a disappointment this is as a phone. Media player - great. MP3 player - brilliant sound quality. Widgets and homescreen - cool. Phone - hopeless. The menus don't flow well at all, with it returning you to the homescreen far too eagerly when you'd just like to go back a step. Using the keypad in a call is a nightmare unless you can type with your ear. And the absence of vertually any apps makes it a nonsense. Just get an iPhone and forget the Arena exists.

had this phone for 12 months now after not having the patience to wait for the lg crystal. love the phone, the best ive had, previous viewty was easier to use touch wise but you get used to it, texting is easiest normal way up (portrait) rather than qwerty board input. video is just amazing, photo's could be better, although there are loads of settings for getting that perfect shot, led flash lets it down. i'd have another, dont know what to have next?? lg something at a guess? i use the opera mini browser which is dowloadable from the phone and is way better to use rather than pinching to zoom all the time.

Got this phone as an upgrade as heard good reviews about it, however after having it for only 3 months its becoming annoying! It regularly freezes, switches itself off writing texts and even during phone calls . On plus side the MP3 player is great! If I wasn't in a contract I would definately be changing phones!

I have this phone and it's rubbish, worst phone I've ever owned. The browser is so slow you can actually see the ice age coming. And it keeps losing it's signal. I will give it 0 g's
