My husband and I went on a Segway in Crete and it was fantastic. We hired them for one hour and it was 20 euros each which was good value. The instructor showed us the moves and then accompanied us to see the sites around Crete town. I was a little nervous I would fall off but found it really easy to use and quite fast. It was the best thing we did all holiday. Very good for touring a city. If you could use them in England I'd consider buying one however I do think they are a little expensive.
