Oregon Scientific WMR100
The basics
The Oregon Scientific WMR100 displays temperature, barometric pressure, wind, rainfalls and humidity data. The Bar graph shows the 24-hour history of barometric coupled with the UV index that determines information on the amount of rainfall. The levels of temperature and humidity trends display the Rising, Steady and Falling data. Wind speed, gust and direction are determined by a wind sensor.

Got one of these but a bit frustrated with it. The wireless connections are a problem. Luckily there is some free software for the PC that shows you more information than the software supplied. Weather Station Data Logger worked well, pity the Oregon stuff does not seem to. UV sensor has only ever connected once! Wireless distance less than 20 feet!! Waste of £200

This was my christmas 2010 present. Not had any issues with wireless connections (sensors about 50 feet away from base station). Sometimes the clock fails to synchronise for a while (maybe local interference from my PC). As per the other comment the Weather Station Data Logger (freeware) is much better than the Organ Software supplied. I'm questioning the accuracy of the wind gauge as seems to be reading low - I've now elevated the gauge about 12 feet above ground but similar readings - not sure how one would check this. Overall a nice piece of kit.

Hello, I have one of these and it went wrong after about 18 months. Looking around, it is not an uncommon problem. I contact Oregon who refused to replace the item as it was outside the 1 year warranty. Think carefully before purchasing from Oregon.
