Aladdin Challenger Flask

We purchased this shortly after seeing it on the show and have been using it for picnics every so often. The double cup and sugar holder are great as you would expect but, the heat retention is marvelous. We had a picnic YESTERDAY filling it with just boling water at 11:30am. I had just a cups worth at around 1:30pm. Tonight I went to empty it at 6:30pm (31 hours later) and the water was STILL quite warm. Not warm enough to brew a tea bag but as warm as a tea would get after standing for 10mins or so !! I am not saying you could use it to make a cuppa 31 hours later but I reckon it would be acceptable after 18hours or so. The longest we have left it before drinking was 12 hours and it was still too hot to drink without milk. I would definitely recommend this flask. Its way better than our previous Thermos flasks (we have had several). Well found Gadget Show...

I bought one of these a couple of years back from complete outdoors. Great flask, would definately buy another one.

I have had two of these flasks and both lasted about a year before failing to keep the water hot. The flasks where used daily and at about the 1 year make I noticed the outside of the flask became hot, the reason for this is unknown to me but I would never buy another. In a word rubbish, if you do need one buy a glass inner cased one as I feel they are better value.

Initially I loved this flash, THEN - had same problem as the one mentioned by a few other commentors - after a year it stopped keeping drinks warm. There's no visible damage to the outside, it hasn't been dropped but as soon as you put hot liquid in it becomes hot on the outside, a seal must have gone somewhere. Very disappointed.

Further to my post above re the flasK (not flash, sorry) - turns out I have had it 2 years and they're guaranteed for 10 years. So - I've been back to the shop I purchased it from and they're gonna replace it for me. Fingers crossed that this one's a bit more robust.

I bought one of these after seeing your show and it is fantastic. I work out in all weathers and no matter how much I drink the remainder is still piping hot 12 hours later. Have recommended it to several people and so far eight have bought one.

Bought 2 aladdin flasks, only used 10 times over a 3 year period. both stopped keeping liquids hot after 1 year each, didnt keep receipts so shop won't honourlieach the guarentee. will not buy another, total rubbish.

I had one of these, and it lasted 4 months before the outside started to get hot and the coffee inside got cooler. Not dropped and no visible damage. Milletts have replaced it, but the manager's comments suggested that it wasn't the first one returned. I'll see how this one goes. Watch this space..........................

I own 2 of these, and have done for a number of years. They have never let me down, the liquid is always hot, and they are very durable. I would recommend this flask every time.
