I have had your weather station for less than three months. There seems to be a fault in the outside temp guage. As its the second one I have had, and the same problem. I have done all the recommended things like re setting and putting it back to factory specs. but whatever I do. I cant get it out of Minus freezing.Can you help please. and email me. Regards, Colin

I've had similar problems. I get the outside temp OK, but no wind speed. As I am an engineer I tried a few things.. signal from anemometer at end of wire ok (sounds like a reed switch and magnet arrangement), signal gets to processor on outdoor unit board ok, so its not the connector. If i simulate the anemometer with a pulsing switch, it reads something, but with such a long update time its virtually useless. Its been pretty windy here and its still not read anything. Dont buy one of these, its an expensive clock (as someone else said). Also, Acctim service are useless, they dont call back and know nothing at all, apart from change the batteries and reset it. Waste of time and money.

At 2330 Tuesday 29th March 2011 my acctim kitchen clock has still not reset change to BST. It is always days late in making the one hour reset. how can this be ? !! Peter

Agree about the wind speed function not working properly. It displays a kph number but rarely shows gust speed. I watched it when the winds were high in gale force and was extremely out. Disappointed as this is what I would want to work the most.

regards windspeed, I Rang Acctim. "Undo three screws on the head above the wind cups" I did and out came rainwater ! I now get a reading but ussually lower than the local forcast?bank
