Doberman Perimeter Alarm
The basics
The Doberman Perimeter Alarm is an infrared alarm system that sets off once the perimeter is breeched. It can protect an area at a 90 degree angle. The infrared beam also stretches out over 4.5 metres. It also features a remote that allows users to arm and disarm the system. It is a waterproof system and it emits a 100-decibel alarm.

Saw this item on gadget prog. I was able to buy it on Ebay for £5 +pp. I found it simple to set up and use My daughter took it to Soniphere it gave her reassurance.although she only used it a few times.
