Samba de Amigo
The basics
Live the vida loca as a square-headed, maraca-shaking monkey in this Wii update of the 1999 music game. Using the Wii remote and nunchuck (or, even better, two Wii remotes) as maracas, you take on your friends in samba-fuelled dance-offs and numerous mini-games.
The good
The bright, crazy visuals and simple controls give the game instant party game appeal. There are more than 40 Latin-flavoured tunes to shake your booty to and more to buy online in the unlikely event you tire of those. The variety of mini-games will keep you coming back for more.
The bad
It only shines when played with friends and not all the mini-games work as well as they should – the piñata-bashing, for example, is let down by iffy controls.
The bottom line
Great fun with friends and enough variety to keep you coming back for more.
