The basics

This handy little gizmo works with your TV’s remote control to shut down your entertainment system at the mains when you have done watching the box for the evening.

The socket’s sensor recognises when you've switched off and subsequently shuts off the mains supply. It'll also work with any other household appliance that uses a remote control.
