Packard Bell oneTwo DTX
The basics
The Packard Bell oneTwo DTX is an all-in-one media centre PC, offering a touchscreen display, choice of 21.5 and 23-inch panels, a built-in Freeview TV tuner and a wireless keyboard. It's perfect for those wanting to combine TV and PC in one neat package.
The good
The Packard Bell oneTwo DTX features a neat design, with a mixture of glossy black and white plastics used for the body. It lacks the all-out quality of an Apple iMac, but it's more than tough enough for daily use, and it's a good looking device.
The screen is gorgeous, providing bright and vivid images. Photographs and movies look pin sharp, making the Packard Bell oneTwo a great home media centre. With a remote control included as part of the package, it's also easy to control your films from the comfort of your sofa.
At first, the idea of tapping the screen on a large computer seems like an alien one, as we've become so accustomed to using a mouse. However, the touch sensitive panel comes in particularly handy when showing off your photographs, and it's also perfect for navigating web pages.
With a Freeview TV tuner and a Blu-ray drive built in as standard, it's easy to use the Packard Bell oneTwo simply as a TV. However, with a wireless keyboard and mouse – and high powered components including an Intel Core i3 processor and 4GB of memory – it can also offer everything you've come to expect from a home PC – from Office functionality to gaming.
The bad
Despite featuring a flatscreen design, the Packard Bell oneTwo DTX takes up more space than you may expect. The stand on the rear of the oneTwo means it has to be angled to stand up, so don't expect it to stand flush against the rear of your desk.
The bottom line
Despite featuring a flatscreen design, the Packard Bell oneTwo DTX takes up more space than you may expect. The stand on the rear of the oneTwo means it has to be angled to stand up, so don't expect it to stand flush against the rear of your desk.

I have had a Packard Bell One Two computer from October 2011. Yes the stand at the back sticks out and takes up a lot of desk space. So what! I can put up four screens at the same time. Word. Media Centre for live TV. Excel spreadsheet and the Internet and work on all at the same time. I can listen to music on Media Player, TV on Media Centre or watch a DVD or playback recorded TV. Listen to Itunes and have four sounds played at the same time,or toggle between them. Download and updates are quick in seconds and uploads to Facebook fast. I have no complaints and you have 4Gb of RAM which you can upgrade to 16Gb. 1Tb of Hard drive and you can add an External Hard drive as much as 1Tb to 4Tb and combine this with your internal hard drive if you know how? So future space and speed is not an issue. I have an i5 processor and Windows 7 means that I can link the two desktops at home and two laptops together on Homegroup and share files, music, videos and photos between all devices. I have even set up a remote link to my workplace and can access and work on my workplace desktop from home or away from home, once I have a secure Internet connection. The touchscreen facility is great and my daughter can practice her handwriting for school. The webcam is clear for Facebook overseas and home. Overall I am extremely happy with my Packard Bell and would recommend it to anyone. Keyboard keys can not type sometimes and require a firm push down, so I just use a wireless Logitech keyboard and mouse and gave the Packard Bell wireless keyboard and mouse to my kids who have done homework and not complained about the keyboard. Great purchase! Don't have to update this for at least six years and don't have to change the machine either. Just update the RAM and Hard Drive. I would recommend that the RAM is upgraded after at least two years as it is a DDR3 module. The latest now but by two years time we may have DDR4 or 5 RAM and it may be harder to obtain the RAM modules then. I have upgraded an old desktop from XP to Windows 7 and 150Gb hard drive to 1Tb hard drive and 1Gb RAM to 4Gb RAM. Installed a new Graphics Card and Power Supply, installed Office Professional Plus 2010 and includes Microsoft Outlook 2010. Trend Micro Titanium Maximum Security 2012. All of this cost me £345. Half the cost of the Packard Bell and only lacks the webcam, TV Tuner and touchscreen. Not bad for 2011. Have two great computers and would recommend others to buy new and refurbish old PC's as well.
