The good

The fact BE offers an unlimited usage limit is a great incentive to pick this little known company. You won't have to worry about how much data you've used on a daily basis – even if you regularly stream content or download large files.

All this for a reasonable £17 per month, too. As with most other options, you'll need to sign up to a 12 month contract.

The bad

BE does struggle compared to some rivals, however, when it comes to the speed of the internet connection it offers. Granted, you'll be able to download all you want, but the 12Mb maximum speed is a lot slower than the fastest services on the net.

The bottom line

BE's broadband package is more than generous when it comes to data allowance, but you may find yourself being capped instead by the speed of the connection. For those who don't care how long it takes to download large files, however, it's worth a look.
