Revo Blik RadioStation
The basics
Revo BLIK RadioStation is an Internet radio that has FM and DAB tuners plus future-proof DAB+ functionality as well as wireless music streaming. It is light, and very easy to set up. It also includes a line-input at the back of the gadget which is useful when connecting an MP3 player.
The good
The ultimate "one box" radio device? Boasting the Holy Trinity of FM, DAB and Internet radio, quite possibly. A slick interface helped us get the Blik up and running easily, and once we were fully Wi-Fi'd up we had access to around 9,000 radio stations and the ability to stream music from your PC. Everything works brilliantly and unsurprisingly, the DAB and FM radio modes are even simpler to use. Given the Blik's single speaker, the sound it delivers is surprisingly clear and full, albeit low on bass. Properly great value too.
The bad
You'll probably want to keep this hidden under a throw, or something, given the horrendous morse-code patterning and plastic body. Also, as easy as it is to use, things would be even easier if the remote wasn't one of those unresponsive ultra-slim jobbies - inputting the WEP password for our wireless network was a bit of a fiddle.
The bottom line
The Blik might not be the last word in ear-ticklingly brilliant sound quality, but when it comes to flexibility there's no radio out there that can beat its DAB-Internet-FM triple whammy.
