The new ps3 slim is coming out soon. I'm more of a xbox 360 person myself but the ps3 slims release price is 249 thats not much more expensive than a half decent blu ray plus ps3 exclusives to boot.
One thing that puts me off tho is my sisters ps3's laser recently broke and its quite a common problem apparently. And unlike xbox's red ring of death its not free to repair after the 1 year while xbox has 3. BOOO! :P
