Had one of these since June, I was looking at the Omnia HD also but as it was exclusive to Orange only I didn't go for it as Orange isn't a good network for me. I'm very happy with the Jet, the screen is good and I find it pretty responsive. I do occasionally have to re-calibrate it but not often. I also get the same problem someone else posted in that the passwords I set up on it are not always requested but again hardly a show stopper. The battery is pretty good comparing to Samsung phones I've had in the past I think this is down to the low power consumption of the OLED screen. Video playback is excellent and the picture and video capture is adequate for my needs. My only criticism is the MP3 playback - it's not good, the sound is muffly and not clear but I may be being a little unfair as I am comparing it to my Sony X Series MP3 walkman which probably has the best sound quality of any MP3 device. All in all a good phone, robust and easy to use, if like me you want to snub iPhone just because everyone seems to have one then this could be the phone you need but I think the Omnia HD is a better unit it would have been my preference if I could have had it on Vodafone.
