@ Jason - yeah, I wouldn't call the MacBook midrange either.
While I am a Mac fan and I absolutely love my MacBook, there are a couple of things that bug me.
It's a little over a year old now, and the mouse pad/buttons don't work as well anymore. Basicaly, if I want to click on something, it might well take three attempts until the button reacts at all. I went to the shop to ask someone about it and apparently it happens quite a lot. And costs a good chunk to get it fixed.
The other thing is that the computer doesn't seem to be earthed properly. When it is plugged in and you touch it and someone else, they get that feeling of a current running through it. There are certain areas of the computer, which are actually sore to touch, because the current feels so strong. Has anyone else had that problem? I'd be interested to know if it's just me - I do have this great ability to pick the one gadget that is technically a bit quirky...
