Best headphones? Audio-Technica WTH-w 1000 in my experience. Also have lovely Cherrywood cases and exquisite sound quality!

What's the deal with those muddy Beats that everyone seems to rave about? Please explain. DT770s are much better basshead phones, and the ATH-m50 just makes the Beats sound hollow and wooly in comparison. Oh, the joys of watching mass marketing confuse the average consumer. Seriously has Dr Dre really tricked you guys? I can tell you that the m50 has rave by the real giants in sound engineering - like Frank Filipetti, and check him out on Wikipedia ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frank_Filipetti ) if you have never seen his glowing track record - and not some gimmick meister.

the beats like skullcandy were tested but did not make the cut there built mostly for style not comfort or quality

could u test headphones that the general public could afford earning a moderate wage otherwise its pointless showing all these headphones. People want to know what the best thing is they can get for their money not the most expensive. otherwise i think that the test was fair and what you tested the headphones on was good i.e. sound, comfort etc.
