Usefull thing those apps, or they would to me if I had the iPhone. It'd be absolutely brainless for Apple to launch their iPad here without the e-reader capabilities. The Gadget Show has done a couple of duff episodes of late (the magic show two weeks ago springs to mind) and next week looks to be another. Ever since Robot Wars was cancelled I thought they stopped this 'sport''. Seeing the clips from the end of last weeks show (a good episode) I see most of the 'robots' haven't changed what so ever. Also they're never robots, their modified remote-controlled cars.

Loving the XMB and the upscaling on the Bravia - Good lessons learned from the PS3. I Prefer Apply TV for buying movies though. @SiJ Robert wars died out when nobody could beat a roadsign that turned every competitor upside down, they need to change the rules!

Channel Five should definitely encode WebTV episodes etc in H.264 rather than use Flash. It could then be seen on iPhones, iPads etc as well as PCs and Macs. Also Flash is buggy and a memory resource hog, so the more sites that move away from it the better :) I use 'Click to Flash' to block Flash content (unless I click to selectively load it like I did with this video on my Mac) - Safari now runs lightning fast.

I don't have an 'i' anything so don't care whether the program can be seen by apple users of any description, why do they all think they have the god given right that the whole world should be dominated by apple ? The MAJORITY of the world doesn't use apple products, (even though the gadget show devotes a disproportionate amount of time to them, and Jason seems to be a fanatic) However, winging apart, great show as usual, and maybe you could pacify all phone users by offering an MP4 download for mobile phones and players, say for Nokia, HTC, Blackberry,Samsung,Motorolla, SonyEricsson,Archos, Sumvision etc and then maybe everyone might be happy even the little fruit fans ! :)

Also if people with fruit machines can get an app for everything that will work Youtube, then they could watch episodes of the gadget show there ! Just trying to help the little cherubs :)
