Frankly I'm unimpressed with the 7D video review. Firstly the video is shot behind a horribly dirty window, how does this show any indication of the quality.
The quote of getting a uncommon deep depth of field is misleading as well as many people are buying the 7d so as to get a shallow depth of field which is only associated with film cameras. The deep depth of field is easy to achieve on a consumer video camera and is something that you don't want if you are going for the "film look".
