Jason likens it to renting a "top hollywood movie"... but the storyline is more like a bad Steven Segal movie. GREAT VISUALS DON'T MAKE A GREAT GAME! Just like a good book requires a good story! Run, shoot, run, shoot, run, shoot... etc etc doesn't constitute a great game.... just more of same drivel that video game companies are creating these days. Deus Ex was the best game ever made and in my opinion nothing has yet managed to surpass it. Maybe Alan Wake or Heavy Rain will be able to offer something more creative and in-depth.

Got my limited edition modern warfare 2 xbox 360 with 250gb hard drive and the game on tuesday. Havent moved from my couch until i reached for the laptop! The wife not very impressed! but its worth the divorce lol.completed the game on single player so only multiplayer to do! 10/10 for this game well worth the £250 i spent on console and game, But i was dissapointed that a well known supermarket chain (That has a naked chef on the adverts) where selling the game for only £26.99!

hello to everyone at the gadget show ' i would just like to inform you of the online problems that are driving people insane on the modern warfare 2 game that most of us have shelled out £45 for . The only thing you can play on is single player campaign mode, and you can only go online and play a match with other players .You cannot in any way join a game online with any of your freinds or invite your freinds on 'a' online game of witch ' this is why many of us have purchased this game made by activison. And also another big let down is they have not even sent us a message saying why we are having this problem' and they have not even put anything on there website explaining or on playstation website. So for the time being it looks like we will have very poor online gameplay unless a profesional body like yourselfs could speak on us gamers behalfs 'who spends millions' to see what they have say 'of witch i and many others would be very greatfull of some information thankyou' ps always watch your show with a passion never miss 1 keep up the fantastick work thanks.

ive seen the game and borrowed it for the PC... i think that this game is brilliant stunning graphics but one let down is (so im told) this game doesnt have dedicated servers and therefore not as good to play online as COD4!!! still have good fun on both!!! would reccomend it to anybody but i hold my reserves with regards to the dedicated servers!!!

Have just finished the game, and thought there were some really good bit's of game play, but also some okay . Graphic's are great .Overal , I'd give it 8 out of 10 for game play . Online is now very good . Can't wait for M A G for the PS3 next year .

the campaign is ok.. but wait till you get playing spec-ops online with a friend, and especially on the Ac-130 mission were communication with youre mate is absolutely essential if you want to complete the 2 and 3 stars difficulty. Its awesome to watch as well as play.. and its moments in gaming like this that make me glad that I am a gamer.. roll on mw3 in 2yrs or so..!

I Brought the Call of duty game for the Pc .In our house we have all three version Ps3 Xbox and Pc . On all three formats the graphics are superb ,game play fluid and although even on veteran the levels are short, they are challenging and keep you engaged all the way to the end of the game . On line graphics remain the same highly detailed and smooth. Ten stars for an adult game that gives you a full feel for what our guys go through for real with out the risks they take .

To be honest the single player bored me it jumped all over the place and right now i have no clue what is happening. But i did only buy it for online as im not really a fan of COD all my mate said online is amazing... well it hasn't got me hooked i find it fun but i think it will only last me till the battlefield badcompany beta (19th nov). I am so glad i payed £26 as i feel it is no where near good enough for a RRP of £55 (which i also find annoying) but thats a rant for another day

BEST GAME EVER! I stayed up til the midnight release to get my copy on the xbox. it absolutely brill. I also love the fact they left it open for another sequel can't wait to see if their is one. Would you know if their is? Just started veteran mode not going to come off it for at least a month and even then i'll still be on it.

what an awesome game, the graphics and gameplay look and feel real as jason said like your in a moive especially in HD, i got the game friday :P all ready level 38 online in 3 days, but shame the xbox 360 cant keep up with the times cos breakdowns are common, are mircosoft just after are money ? why do they put in cheep heat pats a common fault ?

This review was terrible! You don't start the game on the battlefield, there is a training area. Also what was displayed on the TV in the room was different to the video capture. Jason was playing with an M4A1 yet the screen capture showed an AK47. Wasn't at all good. You can do better, guys.

I liked the review, the game itself is amazing, apart from the fact that it was on a console. My chosen platform is PC and as with many other PC gamers I feel totally let down and disappointed by the lack of dedicated server support. I have been gaming on the PC for 11 years, my clan plays CoD 4 and CoD W@W in various gaming leagues and we were all excitedly anticipating 10.11.09, we had arranged to have several dedicated servers to go live on the day with our current server host... Then IW dropped the 'No dedicated servers' bombshell on the PC community. Obviously Jason is a console fan so that's why he hasn't mentioned the petition that has been signed by 216,961 people so far and the 24 hour server stand down which happened on the day MW2 was released (a large proportion of clans who provide dedicated servers for other CoD titles shut their servers down for 24 hours in protest) and the amount of people I know who have downloaded pirate copies of the game for PC because they can't justify paying £30 for something that is for us, just a single player game and worthless as a multiplayer game. I'm probably guessing that this review wasn't unbiased though and you were probably ordered not to mention anything about it.

hi people i have got an xbox 360 and have been waiting for this game since the first sneek peak trailer came out earlier this year and i have been watching all the videos on youtube and was really impressed but when i actually got the game well it blowed my mind !!!!!!!! after cod 4 i thought they couldnt improve but boy was i wrong i mean there campaign mode is unbeleiveable with the new guns and vehicles that have been added !!! but by far the best thing is .... online gameplay which is without a doubt the best online gameplay experiance i have ever had the new perks, maps and guns just add even more to the brilliant gamplay!!!!!!!

Well you haven't had to wait very long at all for it. Try waiting for Storm Of War, Battle of Britain game replacment for IL-46 flight simulator. I have lost count of the amount of times it was going to be released then put back. Last time was meantt to be out this Oct-Nov now have to wait till same time next year. This should of been out 3-4 years ago!!...Will it ever come out.?

Fantastic game. Defo game of the year.. or next ! I was confused to hear your 'platform of choice' was the 360..? Knowing you are a keen PC gamer and this is a FPS!. I guess the rumored delay in PC release (that didnt happen) may have had some input into this. I have been playing online (PC) and would like to hear your response to some of the critisims aimed at the PC version (Ie lack of dedicated server support etc) - So far our Clan's experience has been positive. Such a awesome game! Got it as soon as it came out! Campaign is amazing and ending is amazing. Mulitplayer is great as well. Great how a new host is selected if there is a bad connection or if the host leaves. Great game! :D

I wouldnt bother with the PC version of it, MP is completely broken, no dedi servers, no console, no lean, no choice on which map and who u want to play with, lag, all runs off home internet connection, the game is a complete flop and a direct port from the 360 and not even worth £10 for the SP

I have this game , completed it on veteren and is truly the best game i have ever played. This video should of shown the features of multiplayer . I love it, and have won the game twice by acheiving a 25 killstreak and calling in a nuclear bomb :-)

Jason isn't a real gamer. He thinks MW2 is 'good' and he thinks he's a good gamer, but he doesn't realize that Call of Duty requires NO skill. It's unbalanced. The whole multiplayer part is ruined by overpowered weapons, killstreaks, and perks. Commando allows you to lunge 10 feet. How fair is that? The whole game consists of getting 7 kills, then camping in a corner when the computer does the rest for you. The people who play this junk should try playing some real games... Anyway Jason, have fun while you are running around a poorly designed map with your overpowered weapons and perks, thinking your good at gaming... Your a joke, as are all the people who play this game. I'm not watching the new series of The Gadget show on Monday because of you. I love Jason, Otis and Susie, but the fact that you think your a good gamer shocks me. Try a game which requires thought and skill. Oh wait, you can't because your no good at games really, are you?
