I watched with great interest your comparison of CRT v LCD.
I was the owner of a CRT Loewe Art TV for 20 yrs, and recently acquired a Sony LCD from my parents..
After my Loewe finally went beyond repair, I purchased a Panasonic 42 S10. After 2 weeks I had to return it as I could not view it!!
It was making me dizzy particularly when watching football. With a CRT the focus is instant. When watching LCD there is a huge time lag when the grass is trying to come into focus. In fact it seems to go in and out of focus continuosly. By the time the picture moves again, it again goes into a focus and re-focus scanario again. Hence why it made me dizzy.
As the TV is meant to be 400Hz, I thought this was meant to cure this time lag. Instead it seemes to add to it.
I was also glad to see you mentioned about the colour tone as well.
When is technology going to go back, because it was much better then.
P.S. When are you going to add Loewe into TV screen tests. There the best!!!
