Hi Gadget Show, I liked your segment with Ortis & Jo Wiley on Music Streaming systems. There were a few omissions below I can think of that would have been nice to compare, but I suppose you were just comparing paid for subscriptions. Grooveshark Deezer (Based in France) We7 LastFM Also I know you guys don't want to spend to much time on one particular segment (hey less adverts please! more gadget reviews etc etc) maybe this could be for another time, but what about a segment on devices that can stream music, especially ones that can integrate streaming from music subscription services. Spotify:- Have mobile apps for Symbian, Android & iPhone. Napster:- Can stream to Logitech Squeezebox devices, Sonos, Terratec Noxon iRadio & preview and download tracks directly on your mobile, hopefully they will have streaming apps soon. Sky Songs: - Only Mc & PC streaming at the moment... There are loads more I could list. I think my Logitech Squeezebox is great! It not only streams your own music collection from a PC\MAC\LINUX\NAS but you can also stream from the likes of Napster, Deezer, LastFM & pretty much any internet music stream with a valid URL & you don't even need a PC\Mac switched on... Regards nAthJedimaster.

I enjoyed the comparison & expected the result, most people love Spotify. I use Napster for a couple of reasons; it has been around much longer & I have been a user for years, it connects to my Squeezebox (which is great as well) & it is now half the price of Spotify (something that was missed on the show). I use it a lot & I don't great frustrated by the buffering, instant music isn't a big thing really. Sound quality, music choice and support are all excellent. Where Spotify really wins in my opinion is the mobile clients, Napster are poor there, but you can't stream it thru the Squeezebox which is a big downside.
