Having spent much time reading reviews and debating with myself whether to wait for the new Apple handset (expected later this year) I took a leap of faith and have had one for a couple of months now. It was my intro to Andriod I am finding it hard to put down having been immersed since I got it.

Well there isn't a lot to disagree with there, except that after a bit of a google you may come across many users with power issues. I personally know of two users that are struggling to keep a charge during the day, after having set all the powersaving features going. The o2 update is slow to arrive, which may fix some of these issues, although other posts on web say other wise. To be fair, there are plenty of people saying their device works fine. I have tried the samsung and it is slick it's colours are phenomenal, I've compared it to iphone4, win phones, htc's its beautiful. It's fast it slick, it's pretty. But in the end I went for a HTC Sensation, it's the sense interface, it just beats the hell out of everything in it's path. Sammy's screen may be better (smaller than sensation) and I've heard tell of slightly better camera, but I want the the sense UI it makes an android phone useable. So for me the Sammy is very close to the best smartphone, stick sense on it and hell yes, but we know that aint going to happen.

what a lot of people fail to see in these new phones is the software all they seem to think about is the new features not the whole package android apps stink so do most of the computor software for these phones apple phones are great and most important so is the software eg facetime / video editing itunes /app store etc most androids have dodgey apps or inferior aftermarket software i have owned both systems apple wins hands down
