WOW! Well done Suzi, the video is fantastic! It captures the whole band perfectly, it's dark but has a sophisticated feel to it and I'm really impressed. It reminds me of a few of Fightstar's other videos so it really caught the esscence of the band. And there was almost a dramatic edge to it whilst emphasising their performance skills. Absolutely fantastic.

Oh my god That's sooo good, the colours are make alot of the effect and the slow motion shots just makes you excited and wanting more. By making the background blank and putting massive lights at the back it makes alot of effect. That video may be the first video suzi has done but its look like she's been directing music videos for years. Its safe to say thank god for technology! =D

Suzi, Well done - your first attempt at directing a vid was polished and professional. If this was in a long list of new vids and you had to decide which one was directed by a newbie, I think this vid would sail through as one directed by a seasoned professional. Great stuff - good job.

This video lacked imagination, just like a thousand and one other pop videos....sorry Suzi YAWN ....................... Jason's on the other hand was original and showed great flare and humour ... didn't care much for the short bald bloke though (and I ain't talking about Jason I hasten to add!!). Great videos from both Suzie and Jason, but why no HD download, having gone to all the effort to use HD kit!!!! However I think that both vids are winners in their own right, Suzie's vid has a traditional mv feel, whereas Jason's has more of a viral feel. Geat job guys!! J

As a fan of fight star I have to say, FANTASTIC! Suzi, you put yourself in the place of the watcher and delivered an outstanding music video. Good enough for the hights of Kerang and Scuzz. If you ever give up the show ( hope you don't) give them a ring, they would be hard pressed to find anyone better. Again fantastic work, well done xx.

Great videos but the Red Cam was bound to win from the start. I was disappointed that Jason didn't delve into the realms of 35mm Lens/DOF adapters which could have helped him achieve the same look (narrow/shallow depth of field) as the red-cam (apart from the 4000 line resolution) for a few hundred quid!!! They are being used all over the place now yet still seem to be seldom-heard of. This should not be the case.

Fightstar's video for Palahnuiks' Laughter was very similar. Still, I have to say that Suzi did a fantastic job. It's a shame there wasn't more to the video than Fightstar just playing in one spot in a pretty bland building, but the way the thing was shot was just beautiful. Also, I never knew that artists played at double speed to get those slow-mo shots. I also loved how Suzi focused on all the members of the band. Usually its Charlie who gets all the limelight. Furthermore, I liked how Suzi focused on what instrument was being played at the time. Whenever there was a drum loop, you focused on the drummer and when the guitar riffs were being played, you focused on the guitarists. Again, awesome job Suzi!

a test of a good video is do you keep watching even if the song is not to your taste. in this case, it didn't keep me watching. its slick, but consumers have seen slick, polished, for years where as Jasons video is fun , keeps you watching. as others have said its got that viral video look... you want to see more

Very professional and polished video. Unfortunately turn down the volume and it looks like a million other performance videos out there. Didn't really like either track, but Jason should have won as his video will keep people coming back to watch a different and much more fun video.

The professional crew and editing made this vid look very pro - but it's dull and cliched. A grubby rock band in a damp industrial unit, backlit and artistically out of focus? Seen it all before a thousand times. Suzi, where was the invention? Jason wins hands down, because his video draws attention to the song and makes it stand out of the herd, rather than just providing visuals for it.

Let's be honest, it would be pretty hard NOT to make an amazing music video with all of the pro-toys, production design, experienced crew, experienced (gadget show) editor and, a band who know exactly how to play to a big floaty camera on a stick. Could anyone have done any worse? Maybe next time, Jason gets the production budget and Suzi or Otis or Captain Sensible get to make a viral video using.... an i-Pod that shoots video. Sorry, Suzi baby but Jason's vid is way better. What were those guy's thinking! Jason's had a narrative, ideas and humor. Suzi's was just a a band shoot with no ideas at all. People do seem to be increasingly more impressed with production values than ideas now. The amount of tweenagers I hear cooing over lame overdone effects in movies etc. Let's get back to ideas in art! Kudos to Har Mar for using the word 'soliloquy' in a song too.

mmmm, with all pros on board should o been better, switched off half way. Now Jasons kept me entertained. apart from that Jason did all himself (bit of help from interweb tips) all done with basic equipment. Even cut and edit on his lap! So sorry Suzi, (love you) Hey I dont even like H Mar's song! but without doubt he should have won, No Brainer come on! What were the pro's doing ? BORING!

It's good but to make it great, you should've added an audience around the band like in Lostprophets "Burn Burn" but it's still really good, you got the light and angles spot on 8/10 from me ;)
