Zap files around wirelessly with the Leyio Personal Sharing Device
Share files with the flick of your wrist with Leyio's Personal Sharing Device
Remember floppy discs? They were rubbish. Given how large and flimsy they were, it’s easy to see how USB keys snuck in and stole the limelight. But it looks like the days of the handy USB key could be over as the Leyio Personal Sharing Device does everything it can and it’s wireless too.
No longer do you have to find a PC to swap files – just send them from one device to the other with the flick of your wrist. Not only is there 16GB of storage tucked up inside, the UWB wireless tech makes files transfers super quick. Photos fly across almost instantly, while a 10MB video file takes just seconds to transfer.
There’s an OLED display up top, so you can see what you’ve got stored and a fingerprint reader to keep everything super secure. There’s also a normal USB socket, so you can plug in a regular USB key and still share files the old fashioned way with people yet to get with the program.
The Leyio Personal Sharing Device will be coming to the UK in April and will set you back £159.
