Yamaha Tesseract: a monster bike!
Want a bike that'll save the planet and still looks cool? Check out the Yamaha Tesseract
Want to see something crazy-looking and eco-friendly that’s not Al Gore? Then check out Yamaha’s Tesseract – a four-wheeled hybrid eco-motorcycle that’s powered with a liquid-cooled V-twin engine and electric motor.
It’s not just green, though. It’s also mean. You could say it’s a big old green, mean machine. Thanks to a dual-scythe suspension (sounds like something Death and his brother might sport) the bike can perform slick turns and adapt to rocky terrain with ease.
You thought the Zero S was the meanest eco-bike in town? Well, this looks like a beast (well, a Praying Mantis maybe) and would no doubt give drivers looking in their mirrors the fright of their lives, but it’s still only the size of your average motorbike.
This Transformer-alike eco-bike is still just a concept for the minute, with a release not scheduled until after 2010. Until the, we’ll just have to make do with two wheels. Boring…
