Xbox 360's Project Natal to blow Wii out the water? Microsoft got E3 off to a flyer yesterday, unveiling Project Natal

Forget the Wiimote for a minute, this is much bigger. Microsoft unveiled a new technology called Project Natal last night at E3 – the games conference – and it looks set to blow the Nintendo Wii out the water!

So what is Project Natal? Well, it allows you to take control of games using your entire body! No controller needed – your body is the controller. You simply walk up to the console and start playing.

Project Natal, unveiled by the likes of Dom Mattrick, Peter Molyneux and beardy director Stephen Spielberg, is being touted as the future of gaming. Sitting under the TV and containing cameras and microphones, the device will be able to see you, hear you and even recognise movements in 3D. It’s even clever enough to follow you around the room and tell the difference between people and objects, such as your sofa or coffee table.

The other good news is that you won’t need a new Xbox to use Natal. This will work with your current machine. When it’ll arrive in our homes is another matter, but we can’t wait to turn our bodies into awesome games controllers!

im afraid it wont work with all games. very few in fact. i have been looking at natal since it's been announced and it looks like only a few games will be available with this technology when it comes out. But thankfully most, if not all, developers are getting dev kits as we speak. So all of your favourite game developers will probably include natal technology in their games. Hope this helped GAMEMASTER

the playstation eye is as no way as good as project natal This new play station wand thing you have to have a controller. Project natal is compleatly control free and its got voice recoinisation, face reconisation and you are the controller

Yeah, sony with their playstation eye must be out of their minds to think of even competing with Project Natal! They still haven't worked out that you need to get past the controller! The playstation eye is a mere copycat of the Nintendo Wii, Natal is much more than both of them, it is a breakthrough that will change gaming forever!
