Xbox 360 gets USB storage
Xbox 360 – soon with USB support
News just in that Xbox 360 will finally support USB mass storage. Gaming website Joystiq has obtained some leaked details that state that Microsoft bods will be issuing a firmware update that will mean the end to proprietary hard drives.
This means that gamers will be able to put game saves and other files straight onto a USB stick instead of having to carry around an Xbox hard drive.
The document goes on to stipulate that the storage must be between 1GB and 16GB – capped so that the copying of games becomes impossible.
The Xbox USB update is slated for Spring.

Might this mean that the Xbox can accept things in NTFS format??? rather than just FAT32 caus I was seriously considering formatting my 1.5tb external hard drive to make it work.
