Write on time! La Machine à Ecrire le Temps: the amazing writing clock!

La Machine à Ecrire le Temps. No, don’t leave this page, you’ve not accidentally gone to a French site by mistake. La Machine à Ecrire le Temps is the name of this crazy machine, which is actually, wait for it, an amazing writing clock!

Literally translated as “the machine that writes the time” La Machine à Ecrire le Temps does exactly that. Wind it up, press the button, then watch as the 1,200 components that make up this techy timepiece drive a “pencil” to write exactly what the time is.

If your lounge just wouldn’t look complete without a clock that looks like it’s been turned inside out, that can also write the time for you, then you’d better start saving, because at the moment La Machine à Ecrire le Temps has a whopping $350,000 price tag. And no matter what anyone tells you, that’s a lot of money to tell the time!

Don’t forget to check out our lists for more crazy crazy timepiece.
