Wowee Roboscooper unleashed Wowee Roboscooper - he comes in peace

Far from producing iRobot-style overlords, Wowee is all about outing smart, cute little fellas who’ll happily do your bidding without going berserk and turning on you. The latest is Roboscooper, inspired by Pixar’s awesome Wall-e and with hands the size of giant hams for grabbing stuff in his path and deposit it in his cargo bay.

Roboscooper can either be controlled directly and told to pick up items in his way, or set roaming, when infrared sensors kick in, telling him what’s worth nabbing and taking for closer inspection.

If you’re in a more dismissive mood, you can programme the clever blighter to swipe objects away using those bear-like paws. Be aware that while those mitts may look mighty, he can only store up to 30g of tat on his back.

Roboscooper is due to land later this month, for the must-have-it price of $69 (£43).
