World's thinnest laptop now on sale
Dell's Adamo XPS – size zero laptop
Dell’s super-slender Adamo XPS laptop is now officially on sale in the UK.
The razor-thin Adamo XPS, which is officially 9.99mm thick, first crossed our radars a month ago, with it’s unusual hinge mechanism, which tilts the keyboard towards you when the laptop is open, certainly catching our eye.
At the time we weren’t able to give you a price or launch date, but just a month later we can report that if you head over to your nearest John Lewis, you can pick one up for £1750.
The Adamo XPS is exclusive to the retail giant until Christmas, but the price will come as a disappointment. The UK Adamo GPS is a full £650 more than our friends over the Atlantic are having to pay, though that may change after Christmas once more retailers have it in stock.
Aside from its headline-grabbing dimensions, the Adamo XPS has a 13.4in HD display, a low-voltage Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 4GB of RAM and 128GB of solid-state storage
