Windows Phone 7 coming to all networks
Microsoft isn't picking favourites with Windows Phone 7
Microsoft suggested as much earlier in the year, but it has now been confirmed that all five UK mobile networks will stock Windows Phone 7 devices.
The next-generation mobile OS is a hugely significant release for Microsoft, and is all set to make its way into the world sometime next month – though we still don’t have an official launch date.
Despite having named Orange as its lead partner at Mobile World Congress back in February, Microsoft has since stressed that it plans to make the WP7 experience available to as wide an audience as possible.
And it certainly appears to have been true to its word, as Orange, O2, Vodafone, T-Mobile and 3 have all confirmed that they have Windows Phone 7 devices in the pipelines. This in contrast to the US, where Verizon has opted out of stocking WP7 phones.
In addition, retailers Carphone Warehouse and Phones 4U will also be carrying Windows Phone 7 handsets from launch day – whenever exactly that is.

None of the images I've seen of Windows Mobile 7 particularily impress me, why the big blue panels? I wonder if it will be any better behind the scenes, e.g. dialogue boxes, settings. I currently have the HTC HD2 with WM 6.5 which if it wasn't for HTC Sense would be completely intolerable, as it is I can get on with it but prefer to use the Android XDA ROM running from SD Card even with the terrible battery life. I wonder if the reports are true that WM 7 will not be available for the HD2, (something to do with not enough or the correct physical buttons). I'd like to at least be able to give it a try out.
