Windows Mobile 7 Xbox Live games announced Guitar Hero 5 – coming to your phone soon

Windows 7 and Xbox Live have just announced details of how they will be playing nice to bring the latest gaming staright to your new Windows Phone OS. Today at GamesCon 2010, Microsoft lifted the lid on just which XBox Live games would make an appearance on the new hansets – and the lineup’s looking pretty tasty.

Claimed to be putting “the power of Xbox LIVE into the palm of your hand”, Windows Mobile 7 handsets will bring mobile versions of your favourite Xbox titles to your phone, including Guitar Hero 5, Assassins Creed and Crackdown 2: Project Sunburst.

Windows Mobile 7 and Xbox Live love will also be shared by letting you connect to your Xbox Live avatar, browse your Live friends and see who’s online, view and launch your full games library and but titles from the Marketplace. You can also message your Xbox Live pals and keep track of your achievements on your Live leaderboards.
