The twistable Asus Eee PC T101 netbook looks set to slide its release date... again
We’ve been waiting for the Asus Eee PC T101 like an impatient child on Christmas Eve waits for his presents, but it looks like we’re going to have to wait even longer, as reports emanating from Taiwan suggest that the T101 might never even leave the warehouse.
The Asus Eee PC T101, with its twisty screen, was all set for a June release and has slowly but surely been slipping back. The latest scheduling was for August, but now it looks like the hottest twistable laptop at CES this year won’t arrive until September – and that’s the earliest ETA, folks!

It’s been suggested that the T101 is being held back to see how its swivelling sibling, the Asus Eee PC T91 does. If the nine-inch T91 does well, then we could see the T101 in September. We’re not going to hold our breath though, given the Eee PC T91 costs a fairly hefty £450, you’re probably looking at least half a grand for the T101.
