Waitrose has launched its own iPhone app, complete with top tips from celebrity chefs Heston Blumenthal and Delia Smith. It’s also packed with a whole host of extra goodies for fans of posh shopping.
Thw Waitrose iPhone app packs in a GPS function to find your nearest Waitrose store – and a shopping list function that organises products by aisle or by recipe when you get there. There’s also a “Cook’s Tools” function, that includes a cooking timer, weight conversion chart, seasonal food information, food and wine matching guide, nutritional information guide and how-to cooking videos.
A Waitrose spokesperson said that online shopping would be added “in the not so distant future”. The Waitrose application is free to download from the iTunes app store now.
