Vodafone offers free mobile net tomorrow!
We love free things; so kudos to Vodafone and its free mobile net on Friday
“Free mobile phone internet browsing you say?” We do indeed. Because that’s what Vodafone’s offering this Friday. That means you can eye up all the surfing chihuahuas your peepers can put up with on YouTube, check out all those websites you’d been meaning to, and send out as many ridiculous tweets as you can think of, without running up a whopping bill.
This free surfing Vodafone initiative begins at 00:01am on Friday and lasts for 24 hours. That means Vodafone customers will be able to use their mobile phone browser of choice to hook up to the web and surf for absolutely zilch for 24 hours.
Vodafone is waiving its daily 50p flat fee for this Friday only. There is a cap of up to 25MB fair usage, though. So while any 2G users probably won’t reach that, any 3G subscribers without a data plan should just be aware that a few bursts of video streaming over 3G could see you hit the limit. All that’s left to say is: surf’s up! And please remember: it’s only free for a day!
