Veho Mimi all-in-one: it's about buttons
Say hello to Mimi
If you like a good old fashioned jab of a button, then Mimi is the girl for you. That’s the name of the newly announced keyboard, mouse and controller combo from gadget maker Veho.
At £90, she’s not the cheapest date around, but comes with plenty of attractive features to help you cut the cables and clear the clutter.
The top of the Mimi is laid out just like your standard game controller, complete with thumbsticks and direction pads. However, below that is a full six-row QWERTY keyboard, with left and right mouse buttons located in between. Mouse control itself comes via a built-in motion sensor.
The Mimi communicates with your PC or Mac over Wi-Fi using a supplied USB dongle, and Veho claims a range of around 33 feet.
We’ve got our doubts as to how comfortable the Mimi will be for longer gaming sessions, but any gadget that cuts down on the need for other bits of kit is worth a thumbs up from us.
