Turn your iPad into a notebook
It's an iPad notebook. Sort of
How to turn the iPad into more than just a tablet? Why, pick up a Crux360 case, of course.
Standing apart from all those add-on keyboards and cases that are popping out of the woodwork, the Crux360 goes the whole nine yards and actually provides both a hard case for the Apple tablet, and – attached by swivel hinge – a full QWERTY keyboard. The result is, in effect – yes, you’ve guessed it – an iPad laptop.
The keyboard connects via Bluetooth, so the iPad is only cradled in the shell rather than attached in any way, but it still makes for an effective transformation into an Apple laptop – though you could of course just go out and buy a MacBook.
To its credit, the Crux360 is also able to work as a standalone keyboard with a separate hard iPad shell, which to us probably makes a bit more sense than tying the tablet down to a third-party keyboard.
Either way, the Crux360 has gone up for pre-order in the US for a not-insubstantial $150.
