Tron: Legacy Daft Punk cans take a bow

Tron: Legacy Daft Punk cans take a bow Complete with animated lighting system...

Tron: Legacy may still be a week away from hitting the big screen, but we’ve already had a steady flow of Tron-inspired tech gear aimed at cashing in on a piece of the action.

The latest off the production line are these Daft Punk Edition headphones from Monster, which feature the compulsory white and pale blue design complete with LEDs over the ears which mimic the animated lighting effects seen during Daft Punk’s cameo appearance in the film.

Monster says the Daft Punk edition cans are equally at home with not only movies and music, but games too, and they come with a detachable boom microphone if you’re the type that enjoys a bit of in-game trash talk.

Aside from Daft Punk-inspired flashing lights, you also get a surround-sound mix of the film’s soundtrack, which was composed by the musical duo.

Monster has slapped a formidable recommended price of $350 (around £220) on these babies, but we suspect lovers of all things Tron won’t be too put off.
