Toshiba TG01 "coming soon" to Orange
Can you stand another iPhone killer? Oh go on then...
Ignored the iPhone 3GS? Couldn’t be bothers with the Nokia N97? And all because you’re holding out for the Toshiba TG01. Well it’s “coming soon” and it’s definitely coming under the Orange banner.
In an overcrowded market, the Toshiba TG01 smartphone will be the first handset to feature the Qualcom Snapdragon chipset – that means it’ll run at breakneck speeds of 1GHz, which is why we’re so hyped to see its “coming soon” banner on the Orange website.
Spec-wise the Toshiba TG01 runs Windows Mobile, has a 4.1-inch WVGA touchscreen, GPS, Wi-Fi, three-megapixel camera, and all in a body that measures just 9.9mm thin. I think we can make a little more room in our bed for another “iPhone killer”. Expected to launch on July 9, Orange has said that it’ll offer the handset “free” on a £35 per month tariff.
