Toshiba releases 3D-ready laptop
Toshiba's new 3D-toting laptop
Toshiba has just announced the release of its new laptop – the A665 – and it’s a 3D-toting, HD wonder. The Toshiba A665 will be able to handle 3D gaming and movie playback straight from the box – and also comes bundles with its own pair of active shutter 3D specs into the bargain.
The A665 is being billed as a multimedia marvel – there’s 15-inch LED backlit screen as well as integrated Harman Kardon speakers and Dolby Advanced to make sure that the audio performance matches the visuals.
There’s dedicated multimedia controls and multitouch control so that you can pinch, swipe or zoom through your files and Toshiba Media Controller lets you stream Flash videos from YouTube directly to DLNA®-compatible television sets.
If you’re dying to try out 3D content straight away, the A665 also comes with a selection of pre-installed 3D games so that you’re not waiting for content.
The Toshiba Satellite A665 will be available from July 2010, price tbc.
