Toshiba auctions off designer laptops for charity
One-of-a-kind laptops online now
Starting today, Toshiba is auctioning off four one-of-a-kind celebrity-designed laptops on eBay to raise money for good causes.
The Natural Selection range is the result of a collaboration between Toshiba and GQ magazine. A quartet of celebs – Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry, The Office actor Rainn Wilson, American football legend Hines Ward and actor and musicians Omar Epps – were invited to let their imaginations run wild and put their own personal touch on a single laptop from Tosh’s 505 range.
Each of the four striking designs runs over the entire laptop body, and is meant to represent the designer’s personality and lifestyle. Just one of each laptop has been made, and the auctions will go live on the US eBay site later today. The proceeds from the auctions will go to each celeb’s charity of choice.
