Top 5 3D gadgets!
This week, Jon Bentley took a look at the Toshiba Qosmio F730 – a laptop with a 3D screen. It got us thinking about the best 3D products that we’ve seen in the past few months. Join us after the break to see the top 5 3D gadgets.
From laptops to TVs, gaming to smartphones, the market for 3D gadgets has erupted over the past year. We’ve gathered some of the top tech below.
Toshiba Qosmio F750 The Toshiba Qosmio F750 is the world’s first glasses-free laptop. It uses the webcam to work out exactly where you’re sitting, and adjusts the 3D effects accordingly. The result is reasonable, but it’s not as good as some of the other 3D screens we’ve seen. That said, you can also use the HDMI port to output 3D images to a 3D TV.
Nintendo 3DS Although we’ve yet to see lots of games that take full advantage of the screen, we still love the 3D imaging on the Nintendo 3DS. You don’t need to use glasses to see games come to life, and you can easily turn the 3D effects off or down if you’re getting a headache.
LG Optimus 3D We’re still not convinced that there’s a market for a 3D smartphone, but the LG Optimus 3D is still a pretty impressive piece of kit. Along with being able to play back movies and compatible games in 3D, you’ll also be able to shoot your own movies in 3D.

JVC Everio GS-TD1 One of the first 3D camcorders to hit the market, the TD1 is an amazing gadget. It features two lenses, two sensors, and the ability to shoot videos simultaneously from both – the result being your very own 3D movie. You’ll even be able to record in high-definition.
Bang and Olufsen BeoVision 7 Granted, this TV is worth more than anything in our possession, but it’s definitely a stunner. Along with 3D tech for the gorgeous screen, Bang and Olufsen has also integrated a Blu-ray player and digital surround sound.

I have got to say that the Fujifilm FinePix Real 3D W3 Digital Camera (10.2 MP, 3x Zoom, 3.5 Inch LCD Screen) is absolutely fantastic and as good, if not better than the Nintendo 3DS (Which I also have). People are always amazed by the 3D quality when I show them the photo's and the 3D video is every bit as good too. So I am a little surprised that it has not really been given a mention in this column. Has the gadget show ever reviewed this camera?
