'Tis the season for cheap EA iDevice games

Gaming is an increasing attraction on the iPad, iPhone and iPod touch, and with EA’s big Christmas sale around, it’s not hard to understand why.
More than 40 of its iDevice games have been discounted to just 59p, which in many cases is a massive saving over the existing RRPs.
To give you a taste of what’s on offer, the EA Games for the Holidays promotion includes such gaming highlights as Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit and FIFA 11, along with other well known titles like Mirror’s Edge, The Sims 3 and Scrabble.
So if you’re treating someone special in your life to a new Apple gadget, wouldn’t a selection of games on board by just the cherry on the top? Be warned, though: EA says the discounts are for a limited period, and it’s not saying how limited, so best act soon to avoid the risk of disappointment.
